Ding Cervantes - The Philippine Star

SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga, Philippines    â€“ Camp Olivas authorities have replaced the chiefs of police of this city and three other towns in this province for their alleged failure to solve crimes.

Authorities said Superintendent Ric David was replaced by Superintendent Edilberto Pitallano, former deputy chief of the regional human resources and development division, as officer-in-charge of the city police.

New police chiefs were also designated either as successors or as officers-in-charge in the towns of Magalang, Sto. Tomas, and Macabebe.

Among them were Superintendent Juritz Rara for  Magalang, Superintendent John Clark for Sto. Tomas, and Senior Inspector Efren David for Macabebe.

Authorities declined to confirm who would be David’s permanent successor, but sources mentioned the names of Superintendent Arnel Ramos, deputy director of the regional public safety battalion; Superintendent Niel Miro, Porac town police chief, and Superintendent Nelson Aganon, spokesperson for the regional police office.
