Bulacan celebrates Republic Day

MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – It’s a special non-working holiday in Bulacan today as the province celebrates the 115th anniversary of the Philippine Republic.

Dubbed as Republic Day, the celebration will be graced by Chief Justice Maria Lourdes Sereno, who will serve as guest speaker at the Barasoain Church grounds.

The declaration of the provincial holiday is contained in a memorandum issued by Gov. Wilhelmino Alvarado earlier this week based on Presidential Proclamation 708.
