Metro Manila, Baguio warmer
MANILA, Philippines - While residents of Metro Manila and Baguio City marveled at Monday's cool temperature, the country's capital city and the summer capital experienced warmer temperatures Tuesday morning.
PAGASA weather forecaster Rene Paciente said in a state news interview that Tuesday's temperature rose almost 3 degrees Celcius from Monday's 18.4-degree mercury reading to 20.7 degrees this morning.
Metro Manila's temperatures are recorded daily between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. from the Diliman, Quezon City.
Baguio City, meanwhile, saw a spike in Tuesday temperature, spiking to 12.5 degrees Celcius on Tuesday from 8.4 degrees on Monday.
Baguio City recorded its lowest temperature this season was at 8.1 degrees Celsius last Sunday.
Paciente said, however, that even while the morning seems warmer, the cold front would continue until the end of February.
