PLDT powers Sinulog Festival

MANILA, Philippines - Telecoms leader PLDT enlivens the 2014 Sinulog in Cebu City by giving Cebuanos and visitors to the city access to free premium Wi-Fi that runs on Fibr.

“We are happy to highlight the colorful and exciting Sinulog Festival to the world by providing visitors and attendees with free premium Wi-Fi access that’s connected via Fibr, PLDT HOME’s most powerful broadband that runs on fiber optic technology,” said PLDT VP and head of HOME Data Solutions Gary Dujali.

“This enables festival goers to share their photos and videos of the event with their families and friends here and abroad,” he said.

Dujali said PLDT will also offer an exclusive Sinulog Home DSL Great Payday Sale that offers PLDT HOME DSL plans packed with great values, with customers not required to pay upon application, as well as the PLDT HOME DSL Plan 1299 which now runs at 2Mbps speed.

“Customers will definitely increase their savings with PLDT’s offer of free installation and free Wi-Fi modems for all plans, and instant prizes for those who will avail themselves of the Bundled and High-speed plans,” he said.

PLDT AVP and Cebu Customer Service Zone head Bong Lintag said the PLDT Wi-Fi Zone can be accessed on the following Sinulog parade routes: N. Bacalso corner Alcantara, Cebu South bus terminal, Pelaez corner P. del Rosario, Sikatuna, Gorordo Avenue, Iglesia-Mango, Mango Square, Fuente Osmeña, Arlington Pond (CAP), Uytingsu (Shell station), PLDT Jones, and Abellana Sports Complex Grandstand.
