Man nabbed for rob try on gas station

BUTUAN CITY– An employee of a mining company was arrested after he allegedly tried to rob a gasoline station in Rosario, Agusan del Sur on Saturday.

Alberto Monsanto, 20, of Philsaga Mining Corp., was arrested at the 4 GN gasoline station in Barangay Wasian.

Monsanto allegedly pulled out a caliber .45 pistol when gasoline boy Ulysis Fuentes asked him to pay for the fuel loaded into his motorcycle.

The suspect reportedly ordered the cashier to give him the money from the cash register, but Fuentes managed to push him away and tried to grab his gun.

The commotion caught the attention of security guard Alex Salazar.
