P250K reward up for stray bullet suspect in Ilocos Sur

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – An enraged Ilocos Sur Gov. Ryan Singson offered P250,000 as reward to whoever could shed light on the killing of a sleeping 3-month-old infant during the New Year revelries in Caoayan, Ilocos Sur.

Von Alexander Llagas, who was sleeping beside his father Valeriano inside their house at Brgy. Anonang, started to cry after hit by a stray bullet on the head. 

His parents rushed the bloodied child to the Gabriela Silang Hospital where he eventually died.

"We cannot tolerate this inhumane act, and we stand firm toward the protection and security of our people be it inside or outside our homes," Singson said.  

Singson also gave financial assistance to the family of the child.

The Ilocos Sur police has formed Task Force Llagas to run after the suspect.
