3 girls hurt in mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Three teenage girls were injured after the tricycle they were riding was hit by another vehicle as they were on their way to attend the “Simbang Gabi” in this city yesterday.

Jasmin Mae Justado, 16, Kristen Jasmin Tablac, 17, and Kristine Joy Baloran, 17, were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment, according to Police Officer 1 Santiago Pelovello.

Tricycle driver Tirso Canceran was not hurt in the accident.

Police said no one could identify the vehicle that bumped the tricycle as it was dark in the area where the accident happened.
