MANILA, Philippines - Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency killed a suspected drug pusher during a shootout in General Santos City, the PDEA said on Tuesday.
The PDEA said Midzhar Hadjirul, 36,of Kalubihan, San Roque, Barangay Dadiangas West, General Santos City shot it out with anti-narcotics who were implementing a search warrant last Dec. 13.
Hadjirul was tagged as a target-listed drug personality of Region 12, the PDEA said.
The PDEA said that Hadjirul's accomplice, Adzmer Abil, eluded arrest.
Authorities confiscated from Hadjirul’s possession more or less five grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, or shabu, with an estimated market value of P37,500, 10 grams of dried marijuana leaves and seeds, assorted drug paraphernalia, and assorted firearms and ammunition and several hand grenades.
