BALANGA CITY, Philippines - – A 28-year-old public elementary school was stabbed dead by a neighbor who allegedly tried to rape her in her room in the upland village of Dona in Orani, Bataan on Monday, police said.
The victim, Leilani Castro, sustained 14 stab wounds from a 12-inch kitchen knife.
The suspect, Amos Villamor, 21, fled the scene and a manhunt is underway for his arrest.
