QC cop guns down neighbor in Rizal

MANILA, Philippines - A Quezon City policeman gunned down a neighbor who allegedly tried to kill him over a long-standing quarrel in Rodriguez, Rizal on Monday night.

PO3 Antonio Rigor, 44, surrendered to the local police after fatally shooting a certain Gamay, with whom he had been at odds.

Police prober PO2 Marvin Agno said Rigor was peeing on a side street in Barangay San Isidro when the suspect appeared from nowhere, pointed his handgun at Rigor and pulled the trigger but it misfired, prompting the lawman to pull out his service firearm and return fire.
