Rains expected over Metro Manila, parts of Phl
MANILA, Philippines - Several areas all over the country including Metro Manila will experience rains on Monday while the tail-end of a cold front is affecting Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau said.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 5 a.m. update that Metro Manila and the regions of Ilocos, Cordillera, Cagayan Valley and Central Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.
The rest of the country, meanwhile, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over northern Luzon and its coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the east to northeast with slight to moderate seas.
As of Monday, there is no tropical cyclone existing within or near the Philippine Area of Responsibility, according to PAGASA.
