FHM model's American husband faces parricide charge

MANILA, Philippines - The American husband of FHM and car show model Aiko Baniqued Moore is now facing a parricide complaint after allegedly fatally mauling her inside their Makati City condominium on Wednesday night.

Senior Inspector Gaylord Tamayo, deputy chief of the Makati Police's Criminal Investigation Division (CID), said the complaint is now being readied against businessman James Edward Moore II, 32.

Moore was arrested by officers of the Makato Police's Tourist Protection Unit who responded to the reported incident of domestic violence at about 4:30 pm.at the couple's Amorsolo Tower condominium unit in Barangay Poblacion.

Makati Police said the 28-year-old Baniqued-Moore was pronounced dead at 6:09 p.m. by Dr. Ma. Lourdes Suntay at the Makati Medical Center from head injuries.

Initial police investigation showed Moore allegedly hit Baniqued in various parts of the body and then banged her head on the wall.

Police said Moore was also treated for injuries which he allegedly got during the mauling incident.
