PAGASA: Rainy 'Undas' in some parts of Luzon
MANILA, Philippines - The Ilocos region and other parts of the country might experience rainfall on November 1, the state weather bureau said.
"Scattered moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected over the Ilocos Region and over the provinces of Zambales and Bataan," the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its special weather outlook for November 1 and 2.
The agency said gradual improvement of the weather condition is expected over the rest of northern and central Luzon and over Metro Manila.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains or thunderstorms and the coastal waters along these areas will be slight to moderate seas.
Sea travel also remains risky over the western seaboard of northern and central Luzon, PAGASA said.
The weather bureau said Tropical Storm "Vinta" is expected to cross northern Luzon and to be off the coast of Ilocos and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Friday afternoon.
On November 2 or All Souls' Day, the whole country will have generally fair weather apart from isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening.
