Nueva Ecija's no. 12 drug dealer nabbed
MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested a suspected drug dealer, tagged as Top 12 regional priority target-listed drug personality, during a buy-bust operation in Nueva Ecija.
PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said on Friday that the suspect identified as Adrian Quinagon, 36, of Carangalan, Nueva Ecija, is the Number 12 regional priority target-listed drug personality of PDEA Regional Office 3.
Cacdac said Quinagon was arrested in a buy-bust operation at Purok 7, Ilano Subdivision, Barangay H. Concepcion, Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija last October 1.
Authorities also seized a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, and a .45 caliber pistol with two magazines containing 17 pieces of live ammunition.
The PDEA will charge Quinagon with the violation of Section 5 or Sale of Dangerous Drugs, Article II of Republic Act 9165, or also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
