21 villages in Laguna still flooded

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – Many weather disturbances have passed but at least 21 barangays in two cities and three towns in this province have remained flooded since last month, an official said.

Vicente Tomanzar, director of the Regional Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, said they continue to monitor the situation in these villages in the cities of Calamba and Biñan and in San Pedro, Bay and Sta. Cruz towns which are located near Laguna de Bay.
