BAGUIO CITY, Philippines  â€“ A top drug trafficker in Ilocos Norte fell into the hands of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) after he mistook an anti-narcotics agent for a buyer and sold methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu.

Christian Kevin Guieb, 30, from Barangay 5, San Nicolas town, reportedly Ilocos Norte’s number 4 target in its list was arrested on Sept. 28, 2013 selling a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance claimed to be shabu.

Authorities also seized a P500 bill used as marked money; a blue Nokia cellphone; a black wallet containing a driver’s license; P58 in various denominations and a blue lighter.

Guieb is now facing a violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Article 2 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
