Batangas cop kills wife, then himself

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines   â€“ A junior police officer shot dead his wife then killed himself after a verbal tussle in their home in Lipa City, Batangas, yesterday afternoon, police said.

Responding policemen found SPO1 Ronniezon Alcaraz Lasin and his wife Rodelyn each with a bullet wound.

Their neighbors told police that the couple had a fight, after which Lasin fatally shot his wife and then himself.

Police were still investigating the incident.
