TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A nephew of a town mayor in Isabela was arrested in an anti-narcotics operation in the municipality of Cabagan Friday.
Elvin Ray Masigan, 24, of Barangay Bagutari, Cabagan, was reportedly in the drug list, according to the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
“Masigan is said to be a relative of Sta. Maria Mayor Gilbert Masigan,†Juvenal Azurin, PDEA regional director, said.
Isabela police director Senior Superintendent Sotero Ramos said Masigan yielded two plastic sachets believed to contain shabu, P5,000 mark money, and a cellphone.
