18 int'l flights canceled due to 'Odette'
MANILA, Philippines - At least 18 international flights have been cancelled Sunday as typhoon "Odette" (international name Usagi) moved to Hong Kong and affect several countries in Asia.
The Manila International Airport Authority Media Affairs Division announced that Cathay Pacific cancelled eight flights with routes Hong Kong-Manila-Hong Kong.
These area flights CX-919 Hong Kong to Manila with standard time of arrival (STA) of 4:45 p.m., CX-918 Manila to Hong Kong with standard time of departure (STD) at 5:55 p.m., CX-901 Hong Kong to Manila STA 11:15 a.m., CX-902 Manila to Hong Kong STD 7:55 p.m., CX-913 Manila to Hong Kong with STA at 10:00 p.m., CX-912 Hong Kong to Manila with STD 8:35 a.m., CX-905 Hong Kong to Manila STA 11:55 p.m., CX-904 Manila to Hong Kong STD 6:20 a.m.
The other flights cancelled were Philippine Airlines flights PR-306/307 Manila-Hong Kong-Manila STD 2:50 p.m., STA 8:05 p.m.; PR-310/311 Manila-Hong Kong-Manila STD 7:00 pm, STA 12:10 a.m. of Sept. 23; PR-382/383 Manila-Canton-Manila STD 10:30 p.m., STA 4:25 a.m. of Sept. 23; and PR 352/353 Manila-Macau-Manila STD 12 noon, STA 5:20 p.m.
Cebu Pacific Air also canceled its flight 5J-110/111 Manila-Hong Kong-Manila STD 7:55 a.m., STA 12:40 p.m.
No domestic flights have been cancelled.
