Gang leader falls in P’sinan

BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan , Philippines – Police arrested a suspected leader of a gun-for-hire syndicate in an operation in Barangay Sancagulis yesterday morning.

Marcelino Estrada alias Itew was said to be the leader of the Estrada gun-for-hire group operating in the second and third districts of the province, according to Pangasinan police director Senior Superintendent Marlou Chan.

Estrada, who has a standing warrant for murder, was arrested during a search operation at the house of one Mario Mejia, which reportedly serves as the group’s safehouse.

Police seized a caliber .45 pistol with magazine and seven bullets from Mejia’s house.
