ITCZ to affect Palawan, Visayas, Mindanao

MANILA, Philippines - An intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine  Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said yesterday.

Based on its 5 p.m. forecast, PAGASA said Palawan, Bicol Region, Visayas and Mindanao would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon and evening.

Moderate to occasionally strong winds from the northeast will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon.
