Father, son nabbed for drugs in Albay

MANILA, Philippines - Anti-narcotics agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency nabbed a father and his son allegedly involved in illegal drug trade in Albay during an operation, the PDEA said on Wednesday.
The PDEA said Romeo Nosares Sr., 60; and his son Victor Nosares, 33; both of Relocation Site, Arandurugan Village, Purok 3, Barangay Quitago, Guinobatan, Albay were arrested.
The suspects are target-listed drug personalities in Albay, the PDEA added.
Reports showed that last Sept. 2 around 3:30 p.m., joint operatives of PDEA Regional Office 5, Guinobatan Municipal Police Station, and Albay Provincial Police Office-Police Intelligence Service arrested the two at their residence during the implementation of two search warrants issued by Executive Judge Amy Ana De Villa-Rosero of Regional Trial Court in Ligao City.
Confiscated from the Nosares’ possession were two pieces of medium heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet, while three pieces of plastic sachets containing suspected shabu were recovered from his son’s possession.
The Nosareses, who will be facing illegal drugs cases, are now under the custody of PDEA RO 5 jail facility.
