Pasay warehouse fire still on, guts P2.5M property
MANILA, Philippines - An estimated P2.5 million worth of property was destroyed by fire that gutted a rubber and plastic warehouse in Pasay City on Tuesday morning.
The fire, that broke out at around 9 a.m. Tuesday, has yet to be put out by the authorities as of this posting despite the heavy downpour.
The blaze gutted the four-storey warehouse on Russel Street corner FB Harrison Street.
Firemen have managed to contain the blaze inside the establishment and prevent it from spreading to adjacent structures.
Firefighters, equipped with oxygen tanks, still could not enter the warehouse because of thick black smoke billowing from the establishment.
