Labuyo death toll now at 7, 4 more still missing

MANILA, Philippines - The death toll at the height of typhoon Labuyo in the country rose to seven after rescuers from the Philippine Army recovered the body of a 40-year-old woman in Isabela around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council also reported that six others were injured. There are four missing persons  -- one in Isabela and Batanes and three fishermen in Camarines Norte.
 
The number of missing fishermen decreased from nine to three after they were found in Bolinao, Pangasinan on Tuesday and the bodies of two others were recovered in Brgy. Esteves, Casiguran, Aurora, the NDRRMC added.
 
Meanwhile, the NDRRMC said more than 41,000 families, over 186,000 individuals, were affected by the typhoon in 16 provinces of Regions 1, 2, 3, 5 and Cordillera Administrative Region.
 
Around 3,296 families or 15,011 persons are still staying in 64  various evacuation centers in Regions 2, 3 and CAR, the agency said.
 
The NDRRMC also recorded the total cost of damage at P816.5 million in the affected regions.
