DOH allots P224 M for 2 Caraga hospitals
TANDAG CITY , Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) has allocated P224 million for civil works, infrastructure and equipment for the two government-run hospitals in the Caraga region, Health Secretary Enrique Ona told reporters here.
The two DOH-managed hospitals in Caraga created under the law forming the region in 1995 are the Adela Serra-Ty Memorial Medical Center in this Surigao del Sur city, and the Caraga Regional Medical Center in Surigao City in Surigao del Norte.
Of the allocation, P129 million will be spent to improve facilities, and P95 million for new equipment of the two hospitals.
