Marijuana plantation in Benguet town raided

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines -  Authorities raided again dawn Monday a huge marijuana plantation in remote Kibungan town in Benguet.

The marijuana plantation with a land area of 1,020 square meters valued at P3,191 million was located at sitios Guinawang and Kup-utan between the boundaries of Barangay Tacadang and Barangay Badeo, all in Kibungan.

The plantation with about 4,080 fully grown marijuana plants  and 19 kilos of dried marijuana stalks were torched on site by Kibungan town policemen and only brought samples for evidence purposes though no one cultivator was cornered.
