3 dead in Pangasinan vehicular accidents

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines – Three persons died while three others were injured in separate vehicular accidents in San Carlos City, and in the towns of Calasiao and Umingan the other day.

Benjamin Cabuang, of Barangay Malacañang, died when his pedicab was hit by a motorcycle in Barangay Abanon, San Carlos City.

Cabuang was declared dead-on-arrival at the Virgen Milagrosa Medical Center where his companion, Isidro Rosario, and motorcycle driver Patrick Vistro of Urbiztondo town were also taken for treatment.

In Barangay Mancup, Calasiao town, bank employee Anthony Alfredo Barrozo, 44, died when unidentified men hurled stones at him while he was driving his motorcycle.

Henry Sabado, 43, farmer, died when the tricycle he was riding collided with an Isuzu elf truck in Barangay Don Montano, Umingan town.

Tricycle driver Boy Sabado, 43, was injured in the incident.

Truck driver Jericho Celeste, 45, of Binalonan, surrendered to the Urdaneta City police. He was later turned over to the Umingan police.
