Netizens document Makati fire

MANILA, Philippines - Makati City residents and workers spotted a building near Makati Medical Center on fire at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Netizens captured the incident and alerted authorities through social media to immediately put out the flames at Kamagong corner Bagtikan Street at Barangay San Antonio in the country's business capital.

A simultaneous fire was also seen along Ayala Avenue corner Gil Puyat Street, according to government-owned Twitter account @MakatiTraffic.

Reports said that firefighters have already instructed people to move out the entrance of Makati Medical Center, but many continued taking photos of the ongoing fire.
