Road repairs to cause heavy weekend traffic in MM

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority on Friday advised the public to expect heavy traffic in several thoroughfares in Quezon City, Mandaluyong and Caloocan as Department of Public Works and Highways will be doing road repairs during the weekend up to Monday.
In an advisory, MMDA said the DPWH will be doing road repairs and reblocking on the following areas from July 5 (10 p.m.) to July 8 (5 a.m.):
- along Edsa from Fema Road to Kaingin Footbridge, Quezon City (northbound)
- along Edsa from Kaingin Road to Dario Bridge, Quezon City (southbound)
- along Commonwealth Avenue from North Susana to Luzon Avenue, Quezon City (southbound)
- along Edsa from Boni Avenue to Mayon Street, Mandaluyong City (southbound)
- along Edsa from A. De Jesus u-turn slot before J. Mariano Street, Caloocan City (southbound)
- along Edsa between G. De Jesus Street and Malvar Street, Caloocan City (northbound)
