Ilocos Sur HS loses 19 computers to thieves

BANTAY, Ilocos Sur, Philippines – Students of the national high school here were left without their 19 computers after thieves broke into their computer room and took away the devices Monday night.   

Maryjane Medina, principal of the Bantay National High School, said the theft was discovered yesterday morning. All three locks of the computer room were destroyed, and police said the thieves could have used a bolt cutter.
