San Juan City roads closed during St. John feast

MANILA, Philippines - The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority advised motorists and commuters that some roads in San Juan City will be closed on Monday to give way to the celebration of the feast of St. John the Baptist, the city's patron saint.
The MMDA, in its official Twitter account, said that effective 5a.m., traffic was rerouted in parts of N. Domingo Street which were closed to traffic and corner F. Blumentritt Street up to the corner of Pinaglabanan Street.
A. Lake Street, F. Roman Street and A. Luna Street were also closed to traffic from N. Domingo Street, the MMDA added.
The MMDA also advised heavy vehicles such as buses and trucks coming from Ortigas Avenue and the northern part of Santolan Road bound for Manila to take Granada Street westbound, left to Aurora Boulevard, then to their destinations.
It said that heavy vehicles from Manila taking Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard bound for Ortigas Avenue to go straight north to Aurora Boulevard, right to Gilmore Street, proceed straight to Granada Street, straight to Ortigas Avenue to their destinations.
