Teenage daughter kills ma over date ban

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet  – For  refusing her daughter  to go on a date, a cashier at the Philippine Science High School here was killed by the same daughter.

The 44-year-old victim reportedly had a heated spat with her 15-year-old daughter at around 9 p.m. Friday  after the former barred the daughter from going out on a date with a boyfriend.

Angering the young girl,  the daughter reportedly bit her mother, then grabbed a knife, swung it to her mother, slicing the latter's  stomach.

The teenage girl reportedly fled to her boyfriend’s house after the incident.

Now with the Social Welfare and Development Office in the Cordillera, the girl is undergoing counseling sessions while waiting for parricide raps being readied against her.
