2 hurt in C5 accident

MANILA, Philippines - A closed-van on its way to Quezon City fell on its side along the C5 Road near the Market Market area in Taguig City Monday morning after the driver reportedly lost control.

According to the Metrobase of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority, the accident left the van's driver and helper slightly hurt. The identities of the victims were not given.

Initial reports said the van (XDS-998) was cruising along C5 when it fell om its side at about 10:03 a.m.

The MMDA said the victims only sustained minor injuries and were not taken to the hospital.

The van was cleared by the MMDA off the C5 Road after 10 minutes later, the Metrobase said.
