ZAMBOANGA CITY, Philippines – A powerful blast rocked the sleepy town of Salug in Zamboanga del Norte, as an improvised explosive went off in a high school campus early last Thursday, police said.
Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, spokesman of the Region 9 police, said the explosion at the Salug National High School damaged one of the classrooms.
