‘Rama support boosts Bangon growth platform’

MANILA, Philippines - Alternative senatorial candidate Bro. Eddie Villanueva of Bangon Pilipinas thanked Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama for endorsing his senatorial bid.

Rama earlier said he is endorsing Villanueva for his Christian values that he could bring to the Senate.

“We thank Mayor Rama for his kind endorsement and we are very humbled. We strive to run our campaign on support and endorsement such as this, rather than be concerned about surveys and expensive political ads,” Villanueva said.

Villanueva said Rama’s endorsement is a big boost to his candidacy since Cebu has the most number of voters among the country’s 80 provinces.

He said the endorsement underscores his commitment to the Bangon Pilipinas platform of establishing “inclusive economic growth” not just in Luzon but in the Visayas and Mindanao as well.
