Another cruise ship to visit Kalanggaman

PALOMPON, Leyte, Philippines – Another luxury cruise ship is scheduled to make a stopover today at Kalanggaman Island which boasts of white sand beaches and challenging cliff dives.

Mayor Ramon Onate said MS Bremen of Hapag-Lloyd Cruises of Germany is bringing 150 European tourists to the island as part of its “Jewels of the Pacific Island” tour after a stopover in Bohol.

Last April 26, MS Europa dropped by the island and Palompon town earned P163,000 from the entrance fees of the more than 300 tourists and 80 crewmembers of the cruise ship, according to Vice Mayor Georgina Arevalo.
