Artemio Dumlao - The Philippine Star

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines – A publisher of a Baguio-based paper and his family lost P100,000 worth of personal belongings to “Bukas Kotse” gangmen in Rosario town, La Union the other day.

Thomas Picana, publisher of the Amianan Balita Ngayon and a correspondent of The Manila Times, said the robbers took his camera, laptop, tablet computers and P39,000 cash.

Picana said he parked his Toyota Tamaraw FX in front of a fastfood restaurant in Barangay Saitan to have breakfast.

When they returned, they found the car already opened and the valuables gone.
