Another fire hits Sariaya market

SARIAYA, Quezon , Philippines   â€“ Another fire hit this town’s public market before dawn yesterday, gutting at least 20 stalls.

The fire started at 1:30 a.m. and was put under control within an hour by firefighters from Sariaya, Candelaria, Tiaong, Pagbilao and Tayabas towns and Lucena City, with help from Meralco, Rescue 117 and the police.

The public market was first hit by a fire last December.
