Quiboloy to name his bets on May 5

DAVAO CITY , Philippines   â€“ Evangelist Pastor Apollo Quiboloy of the Jesus Christ The Name Above Every Name congregation yesterday said he would name in a big gathering on May 5 his chosen candidates for the Senate and Davao City posts.

Quiboloy said his group’s political affairs committee is now going over the list of Senate hopefuls. 

In the 2010 polls, Quiboloy chose Gilbert Teodoro of Lakas and Mar Roxas of the Liberal Party for president and vice president, respectively, but both lost.

Several senatorial and local bets trooped on Thursday to the compound of Quiboloy’s congregation along Diversion Road here to greet him on his 63rd birthday.
