Comelec to address Bulacan vote buying

MALOLOS CITY , Philippines   â€“ Vote buyers and sellers, beware.

Thus warned Bulacan provincial election supervisor Elmo Duque, as he confirmed reports of vote buying in Paombong town last week.

Duque said they got information that people were massing in the house of a known supporter of a local bet, but when police responded, the crowd was gone.

Duque plans to activate the Provincial Election Monitoring Action as a quick reaction group to address reports of vote buying in Bulacan.
