Cavite farmer yields P54K worth of illegal drugs

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency have arrested a farmer in Cavite who peddles shabu and marijuana on the side.

PDEA agents nabbed Cesar Añate, 48, of  Nursery Compound, Brgy. San Nicolas II, Bacoor Cavite, last Apr. 21 during the implementation of a search warrant.

PDEA Special Enforcement Service, PDEA K-9 Unit and Bacoor City police enforce a search warrant on Añate’s residence which resulted in his arrest.

The search warrant was issued by Judge Agripino Morga, Executive Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 32, San Pablo, Laguna.

Seized from Añate were 15 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu and 8 grams of marijuana dried leaves with an estimated market value of P54,000 and various drug paraphernalia. - Dennis Carcamo
