‘No let-up in fight for environment’

MANILA, Philippines - Just like what he started when he was in the Senate, United Nationalist Alliance senatorial bet Juan Miguel “Migz” Zubiri has reiterated that his fight against environmental destruction would continue.

In a statement, Zubiri said he would focus his campaign against syndicates behind illegal logging, illegal mining, illegal black sand mining and other environmentally destructive activities.

He said he was aware that even politicians and government officials were in cahoots with these syndicates but this would not stop him from fighting them.
