Two dead in Ilocos Sur mishap

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – Two persons were killed while seven others were injured after a multi-cab rammed a tricycle in Barangay Turod, Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur last Monday.

Police identified the fatalities as Johnson Aguinaldo, 46, driver of the multi-cab; and Josephine Jacusalem, 37, a passenger of the tricycle.

The wounded were identified as  Jasmine Elaine Sagado, 22; Blessie Hope, 20; Ike Biligan, 58; Sharmaine Dyan Gacusan, 14; Cristobal Barot, 34; Lito Gaoat, 38; and Seprido Osio 30.

Police said Aguinaldo tried to overtake another vehicle but lost control of the wheel and crashed into the tricycle parked along the roadside.
