Better image for Socsksargen cops
KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – The regional police command and Sagittarius Mines Inc. (SMI) have joined hands in enhancing the competence and image of police personnel in the region through the transformation program of the Philippine National Police (PNP).
In a values formation workshop on Tuesday attended by 120 uniformed personnel across the Socsksargen region, Senior Superintendent Ferdinando Sevilla, acting director of the Center for Police Strategy Management, said the PNP has anchored its transformation program on the implementation of Patrol Plan 2030.
“Through the PNP Patrol Plan 2030, community safety awareness will be improved to restore the respect and the satisfaction of the community,†Sevilla said.
“We have to aim for excellence within the PNP so that we can institute professionalism at all levels of the organization. We aim to make the PNP an institution with personnel who are highly capable, effective and credible by 2030,†he added.
