MANILA, Philippines - A magnitude-5.2 earthquake hit Sarangani, Davao del Sur yesterday afternoon. There was no immediate report of damage or injury, state seismologists said.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the tremor occurred at 4:30 p.m. and was centered 262 kilometers southeast of Sarangani.
Phivolcs said the quake was not expected to generate aftershocks.
