Noy OKs 15 new court branches

MANILA, Philippines - President Aquino has signed four new laws creating 15 new court branches in Taguig City, Koronadal City in South Cotabato and Janiuay town in Iloilo.

Republic Act 10381, which Aquino signed last March 14, created three additional branches of the Metropolitan Trial Court in Taguig City.

RA 10392 created a regional trial court branch in the sixth judicial region in Janiuay, while RA 10393 created four additional RTC branches in General Santos.

Aquino also signed RA 10394, which converted seven branches of the Pasig City RTC stationed in Taguig City to the RTC of Taguig.
