Drug pusher nabbed in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines - A 30-year-old pusher was arrested by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency for peddling 50 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, during a sting operation in Quezon City.

PDEA director general Arturo Cacdac Jr. said  Michael Mohammad Sera of Maguindanao Street, Culiat, Quezon City, was apprehended by operatives of PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region.

Operatives nabbed Sera after he handed-over a two plastic sachets of shabu to a PDEA poseur-buyer during a buy-bust operation inside a popular fast food chain located in Mindanao Avenue corner Congressional Avenue, Quezon City.

Seized from the suspect were a mobile phone, a Honda motorcycle, and the P1,000 marked bill which was used as the buy-bust money.  - Dennis Carcamo
