A Danish man was found dead inside his apartment in Olongapo City, police said on Thursday.

Investigators said Eduardo Acosildo, 51, driver and apartment caretaker, discovered the body of Soren Andreasen, 48, Danish tourist, around 9 a.m. last Mar. 13 inside the  apartment at No. 5-Gabaya St., Brgy. Barretto,
Olongapo City.

Acosildo also told police that he last saw the victim alive last Mar.12 at 3pm, complaining of  difficulty in breathing and suffering severe stomach ache for almost four days owing to diarrhea.

Acosildo added that Andreasen was able to talk with, while drinking liquor together with fellow Danish Hans Kierkegaard, who  advised Andreasen to see a doctor for his condition but ignored it.

Police recovered three pieces of empty large bottles of gin at the scene.

No foul play or struggle could be inferred from the victim’s body, and  all of his valuables were still intact, police added.

Police said an autopsy will be done to determine the cause of Andreasen’s death.
