2 big time drug pushers nabbed in Albay
Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency nabbed two suspected big-time pushers for selling approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, locally known as shabu, to an undercover agent during a buy-bust operation in Albay.
PDEA Director General Arturo Cacdac, Jr. said that the illegal drug contained in a plastic sachet and worth approximately P250,000, was confiscated from suspects Agapito Lopez, 43, of Market Site, Polangui, Albay; and John Randolph Rado, 27, of No. 310 Bunsuran Ist, Pandi, Bulacan.
Records showed that last Feb. 27, a transaction was hatched between the poseur-buyer and the two suspects, who agreed to meet along Maharlika Highway, Barangay San Roque, Daraga, Albay.
After the suspects received the buy-bust money, elements of PDEA Regional Office 5-Regional Special Enforcement Team immediately pounced on the two men.
Seized from them was a motorcycle with, the PDEA said.
