Security guard shoots teenager dead in Cavite

MANILA, Philippines - A security guard shot dead a teenager inside a subdivision in Cavite on Friday, police said.
 
Superintendent Romeo Desiderio, Cavite provincial police spokesperson, said Richard Marto, a security guard of Villa Celina Subdivision, Barangay Bayan Luma 7, Imus City, fired his 12-gauge shotgun at Vladinir Teves Jr., 19 around 1:20 a.m.
 
Desiderio said the victim, who sustained 7 gunshot wounds, died while being treated at the Our Lady of Pillar Hospital.
 
Policemen have arrested Marto and his shotgun has been confiscated.
